Directions to the Neaum Crag Estate

From the South M6 (Junction 36)

• Follow the A591 towards Ambleside
• At Ambleside, take the A593 towards Coniston / Langdale
• Continue straight through Clappersgate
• Turn right signposted “High Close” (do not follow alternative Sat Nav routes)
• Take the first left just after the houses
• Continue up the road to the Neaum Crag Estate entrance (stone/slate sign) 
• Stay on the main road until you see the office and pool building on your left. You will come to a cross road.
• STOP AT CROSS ROAD. Look Right, check its clear.
• TURN RIGHT , then take the driveway on the LEFT (before the one-way starts).
• You have arrived at Derwent Water Cabin

From the North (M6 Junction 40)

• Take the A66, then join the A591 towards Ambleside
• At Ambleside, follow the A593 towards Coniston / Langdale
• Continue through Clappersgate
• Turn right at the High Close YHA sign (do not follow alternative Sat Nav routes)
• Take the first left after the houses
• Follow the road to the Neaum Crag Estate entrance.
• Stay on the main road until you see the office and pool building on your left. You will come to a cross road.
• STOP AT CROSS ROAD. Look Right, check its clear.
• TURN RIGHT , then take the driveway on the LEFT (before the one-way starts).
• You have arrived at Derwent Water Cabin.
